Flying Saucer QBA-CP

As I Stepped in The Flying Saucer cafe CP- a new avatar of yesteryears QBA, I was instantly impressed by it grandeur and  the interiors and warmth..

This  new entrant from Priyank Sukhija’s chain of Restaurant is  multi-cuisine double leveled  huge space with a terrace zone which give you a view of central Connaught place and a mesmerizing  view of Indian national flag hoisted in the central park.

The feel of the space is massive but comfortable beautiful and warm.

Let’s talk about food:

First thing on my table was fruit punch a mocktail full of flavours and very refreshing and I loved it but my friend’s choco hazelnut Shake was very mildly flavoured .

along with drinks we were also served with starters.

Crispy Corn Kernels –boiled American corn served in fried rice crackers cups were nice, light in texture and appealing to eyes. Penang Paneer TIkka had an interesting twist to it as it was topped with an asian Sauce which enhanced the flavor and made it different from regular Paneer tikka, I loved it for its flavour, softness and juicyness

Next we were served with Mini Samaosa –nice and crispy with soft spicy panner filling was also good..

On our request to try something else Manager arranged for us Corn Sev and and Mini Kachori Chaat. My Indian taste buds loved the Corn Sev for it sweet and tanginess and can easily classify it as the star dish of the evening.

Just when I was about to order the Main course we were served with another starter-Sriracha And Honey Mushrooms-this crispy fried mushrooms tossed in honey and asian sauce was also good too.

For The Main Course We were Served With Paneer Tacos and Khoa Suey Burger .both these Dishes did nothing for me and I suggest to avoid trying them when you visit this space.

However Briyani with Raita and  veg salsa was well prepared. It tasted good and was aromatic, infact one of the best veg briyani in the town.

Now it was time of the meal I wait for-yes! The Dessert time, though little disappointing as the Blueberry cheesecake was hopeless so was the cold brownie but Choco Mousse was a little better and edible..

To tell you the truth the real savoir of this course was amazing Paan ice-cream with excellent paan flavour.it was so good that one can actually taste the glukand in every bite

Over all a place with great ambiance awesome starters average main course and desserts.
