I have always liked to dine out in simple casual chic spaces where you can hang around and chill with friends and family over comfort food and as I entered this huge two floored seating joint at busy Kailash colony market, I knew it’s my kind of place.
Yes guys this delightful European style newly opened two floored with terrace and a rooftop as well as indoor sitting area-UNCULTURED has found its place in my fav list of restaurants’ in Delhi.
The ambiance is casual and comfortable. Interiors are bright colorful warm and simple with leathers couches in the indoors and cane chairs outdoors. I loved the simple yet contemporary Cabanas at the roof top.
Let’s talk about food :
By the time we decided on our starters we were already served with Chilly Panner which was absolutely delicious, soft and juicy. Next was Melting Cheesy Mushrooms in a very attractively done platter I loved these super cheesy stuffed mushrooms .
We were also served with Beet root ki Tikki- A aloo and beetroot mixture Tikki Chaat-Tikki was crisp with generous topping of Curd, Mint and tamarind chutney .Oh only I Know how I resisted a second serving of this sweet tangy crispy spicy street food with a twist.
To accompany these goodies we also ordered Uncultured Chocó shake –a thick strong flavored milk shake with thick topping of cream .This rich divine shake was an absolute treat to my heart and mind soul.(highly recommend)
We also ordered Panner Tikka which was served in interesting multi leveled platter and was well prepared with perfect marination.
Next on our table was Veg Burger with potato fingers – again interesting creative presentation? The uncultured carved on the bun kinda amused me. Well easily one of my fav burger in town now onwards.
Now the ever smiling restaurant manager wanted us to try some mock tails and to his recommendation we enjoyed Sky culture Mock tail and weekend Uncultured.
For the Main course we tried Harissa Broccoli .This baked broccoli with generous cheese topping and baked was super delicious and I loved it. Next was Veg cheese Pizza which again was nice gooey and cheesy and good on my taste buds.
Just when we thought now we shall signal for dessert we were served it Gulabo pasta Dal Makhani and Shahi panneer with Kachoomar Parantha, we were so full that we just took a bite of each of these and they were delicious.
Hey Hey, time for Dessert and we were served with brownie with ice-cream and chocolate globe. I liked the brownie but have eaten much better chocolate globe elsewhere.
All in all this place is true to café culture and bring together flavors of the world in great friendly atmosphere.
Very satisfying experience indeed!
