Fusion Cuisine at Lord of the Drinks

Lord of  the Drinks in Connaught Place in the heart of Delhi is a brand –it is a huge stylish  elegant lounge and bar , and dedicated staff. It is an excellent place to host meetings or socialize.

Let’s talk about food:

I was visiting Lord of the drinks for an experience with new menu introduction on the occasion of it Second Anniversary. It was a well crafted and designed menu from the cheerful staff and Exec chef at LOD. It was going to be a fusion Indian and international dinner that I was going to have. I started with a drink, the lovely Signature Punch. Refreshing and soothing. Along with it I was served Tandoori Dhokla-very light, soft in texture and topped with tamarind and green chutney was a treat to  my taste buds. This is a must have for all calorie conscious folks

Soon I called in for more Starters for me- a vegetarian, was served with Ricotta vada .  Our Indian pav Bhaji served with Ricotta cheese kabab was not only well plated with mini buns but was delicious to taste.

While I feasted on my R vada, I also ordered a Nutella and Nuts milk shake from the drinks menu. Milk shake was thick flavorsome and I loved the nutty texture as well.

And then started a fabulous show of superb food servings-arbai tuk, Quinoa  Kababs,  Veg 5 spice dimsum, king of Lords Pizza and Panner lababdar.

When Arabi non eater go gaga over Arabi Dish you gotta to note it as must have .

Crispy Arabi chips prepared in Street style sweet tangy spicy crispy papri Chaat Was a absolutely divine.

.I also loved the taste and texture of Quinoa kabab served with spicy tomato garlic chutney which took the flavors to another level.I also enjoyed the fresh spice flavors specially that of fennel in the well prepared Five spice dimsum. However Pizza was just about ok for me.

Paneer gravy dish served with mini naan was good and a complete meal in itself.

I must say that Chef’s  magic really left me amazed and wanting more and more. We had more to look forward to – the Dessert. –tiramisu in a bottle  and I like it.

Well at the end of it, I think the team at lord of the drinks has really kept the modernity and traditional flavors of the cuisine intact, yet manage to add innovation and I was very delighted about this. Certainly a place worth multiple visits.
