As I used to pass by the Exchange Store at Civil lines every day after work, the Boa Village poster hung right on the front wall used to invite me in. And on one fine day, I took time out and entered this pan Asian Space – Boa Village. And Guess What ? they were celebrating the Love month With special Love Menu.
It was as if I have entered a big arena goodness all around me. They say, You can judge a book by just going through the preface even before reading it full. And it was so true here at the Boa Village I was damn sure of a wonderful time and a delicious meal while at the casual dining and bar.
The menu focused on the variety of drinks and food; traditional Japanese, Chinese, Korean dishes along with few Mediterranean and continental delicacies.
I found Boa Village one of the most beautiful properties in the area. It can very easily be classified as the biggest Pan Asian with a lovely outside and amazingly beautiful terrace sitting arrangement and elegant interiors. In fact the terrace seating is one of the stunning areas in the entire NCR region.
The restaurant can easily accommodate a large crowd of about 200 or more. Bao village has a fully loaded bar at the 1st floor which is indoor family dining area..
Let’s talk about Food :
For the drinks I called for some milk shakes first, and then some signature mocktails as suggested by the Bar Manager. I deliberately opted for varieties other than chocolate shakes first and loved them. I had Fig and Cheese cake Shake. It was thick rich in flavors and crushed Fig. –Awesome is the word for this shake. The other milkshake was saffron cookie walnut shake.it almost tasted like badam milk and I liked it too.
The mocktail that I tried was Spring Fever made of orange Juice fresh orange topped with sod was refreshing.
Moving on to the appetizers, I tried was assorted Dim sum and Veg Sushi they were quite flavorful. And served with coriander chilli, tomato salsa ginger vinegar and 3 more others sauce.
Veg boa I tried was absolutely divine. It was so Soft that it melted in the mouth .the stuffing was a mildly spiced veggies and cheese and it highlighted the texture and left a lingering taste in the mouth.( Highly recommend).
For the main course it was Pokchoy and Mushroom in dark sauce , Spinach and corn in garlic Sauce and Garlic Fried Rice.
Everything on this platter was mouth-watering, but a special word Pokchoy and Mushroom; they were good, tender and the flavors came together very well.
We also were advised to taste the Corn and cheese roll and the Paneer tikka from the menu. The Paneer Tikka was good, and the dip served with them added to the already extraordinary taste
For the dessert I had tough time to decide as Menu offer quite a few interesting ones.I settled for Lava Gulab Jamun with Vanilla Icecream. This fusion dessert was not only interesting take but delicious.
Overall I feel that I had a great perfect and satisfying meal at the Boa Village. The service was top class; the staff wa great; the food was on table in no time and I feel that it’s a must try. And I am surely going to recommend it to friends and family. And also going to visit again very soon.
